There is a lot of hearsay about the health care reform and what it means to us in private practice. Some believe it's a good thing while others believe it's bad. Some believe it won't even affect us until 2014.

One thing I know for sure is that the landscape of health care, and our industry, has been changing for the past 8 years. Such as patients paying more out-of-pocket, insurance companies denying more, audits being conducted more by insurers--including Medicare--to reclaim revenues.

The game is changing.
